Naugarduko Street
Naugarduko Street is the first modernized street in Naujamiestis, where the application of street modernization principles began in 2018. The street has become more attractive for the most vulnerable road users, additional space has been created for cyclists, intersections have been redesigned to make them safer, and additional greenery has been planted to separate pedestrians from traffic.

The intersection of Naugarduko and Vytenio streets has been converted into a small roundabout, allowing pedestrians and cyclists to cross the intersection more conveniently and safely, while heavy vehicles can still use the central part of the roundabout
The traffic lanes comply with the requirements of the technical regulations for construction, the street has become visually narrower, and conditions for exceeding the maximum speed limit have been eliminated
The street has been partially adapted for the mobility of people with individual needs – the necessary tactile surfaces have been installed
