Parking exceptions for special transport

Fire and rescue services, police, gas suppliers’ emergency services, ambulance and medical assistance services, public health institutions performing epidemiological surveillance of infectious diseases, services ensuring public order and controlling the payment of local tolls, marked with distinctive signs and special light or special light and sound signals, performing their official duties.

Operators (drivers) of special vehicles marked with special light signals belonging to other emergency services, city street maintenance services, city street, underground communications and building repair and maintenance services (companies or corporations) who have arrived to deal with accidents, operators (drivers) of vehicles belonging to pre-trial investigation institutions that are not marked with distinctive signs and special light signals, who are carrying out pre-trial investigation activities or operational activities.

For owners (drivers) of vehicles marked with a disabled parking permit.

At foreign embassies and consulates, in no more than 5 parking spaces marked in accordance with the established procedure and at their expense.

In sections marked in accordance with the procedure established by the Vilnius City Municipality Administration, 5–15 m long, near the municipal administration building and the premises of the municipal offices.

During events organized by Vilnius City Municipality, parking spaces are used for other purposes.

A vehicle operator (driver) who has purchased a combined travel ticket (“Park and Ride”) parking in the combined travel connection (Park and Ride) car park for the period from the moment of purchasing the ticket until the car leaves the car park, but no longer than until 24:00 on the same day.

Drivers (operators) of vehicles that have been issued an electronic electric vehicle permit in accordance with the procedure set out in the regulations.
