Parking permits for electric vehicles
Electric vehicle owners (drivers) can purchase an electric vehicle permit issued by JUDU (SĮ Susisiekimo paslaugos), which entitles them to park their cars free of charge in parking spaces subject to local tolls – on streets located in yellow and green zones and in JUDU parking spaces without barriers. red and green zones, as well as in JUDU parking lots without barriers.
Who is eligible for a permit?
An electric vehicle permit is issued to operators (drivers) of cars without internal combustion engines, in which the energy for mechanical motion is supplied only from an externally charged electrical energy storage system. Electric vehicle permits are not issued to operators (drivers) of hybrid vehicles.

Parking in the blue zone
From July 1, 2025, parking for electric vehicles in the blue toll zone will be free for the first hour, the second hour will cost €3.50, and from the third hour onwards, €4.00 per hour. The blue toll zone for electric vehicles is also subject to taxation 24/7.
Please note that to take advantage of the first free hour in the blue zone for electric vehicles using the m.Parking app, you must:
- Add the vehicle’s license plate number and select the vehicle type “Pure electric vehicle”;
- If you have already added your car, select “Edit” and choose “Pure electric vehicle” as the vehicle type.
Please note that parking must be activated immediately after parking your car. After 60 minutes, parking will automatically become chargeable: the second hour – €3.50, the third and subsequent hours – €4.00 per hour.
APayment by SMS is not possible.
