Vilnius offers internationally popular Park & Ride facilities—an integral part of a modern city—where drivers can leave their car and continue their journey by public transport. These facilities can be used by any driver living in Vilnius or visiting the city and travelling to the central area.
The Park & Ride parking service is designed for those arriving in the capital from the suburbs or more distant areas. The purpose of these facilities is to offer a convenient alternative to using a private car in the city centre. Strategically located on the outskirts of the city, they allow drivers to leave their car and continue their day’s journey by public transport for just €1.

How to buy a ticket in the m.Ticket app?
Connect your car with
a phone number
Send the car’s license plate number via SMS by writing SV AAA000 to +370 616 019 54.
If you make a mistake when registering your vehicle or your phone number changes, send the correct vehicle registration number by SMS in the format SV AAA000 to +370 616 019 54, as long as the ticket has not yet been activated in the app.
Buy Park & Ride ticket
in the app
Activate the purchased ticket; if not activated, you won’t be able to leave the parking lot. To exit, wait for the barrier to rise at the gate – the ticket expires upon leaving.
Important: One ticket allows one car to use the lot and permits one person to travel by public transport. In the mobile application, you can have several tickets at the same time, but only one can be used.
How to buy a ticket from a ticket vending machine?
Ticket purchase
To purchase a single ticket, you need to register your vehicle at the ticket vending machine. Tickets can be purchased by paying in cash or by card.
Ticket validity period
You do not need to validate the ticket on public transport, but make sure to keep it until the end of your journey—the ticket is valid until the end of the day.
Exiting the facility
To leave the facility, drive up to the gate and wait for the barrier to lift, then exit the parking area—once you leave, the ticket will no longer be valid.
