Ticket types and prices

• Convenient for passengers who frequently use public transport during working days.
• These tickets are valid on working days only, for the corresponding number of calendar days until 23:59 on the final day.
• When a long term working day ticket is activated, journeys on weekends or public holidays are possible only with the 30-minute, 60-minute ticket from JUDU / Vilniečio card, "m.Ticket", "Trafi" apss or with 60–minutes ticket purchased by contactless payment card in validator in the vehicle.
• When purchasing a long-term ticket that is valid during working days for a period of 90 days or more, the price is reduced.

JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card – 1.50 EUR

30 min. ticket – 0.65 EUR

60 min. ticket – 0.90 EUR

1 day ticket – 5.00 EUR

3 day ticket – 8.00 EUR

Tap your contactless payment card against the ticket validation machine again. If the purchase was successful, the machine's screen will show how much longer the ticket will be valid.

2. Select your ticket;
3. Make a payment using your card or internet banking. For more information click here. (In Lithuanian only)

Important: it is not possible to use the app without Lithuanian phone number.

• You need to confirm that you really want to activate your ticket.
• After confirmation, wait for 15 seconds. After this time, your ticket will be activated.

1. Remove the card from your bag/wallet or other holder.
2. Ensure you are tapping only one card against the machine. If multiple cards are tapped at the same time, the machine may not detect the card you intend to use.
3. Tap your payment card on the machine.
4. Do not move or lift the card up and down, as this might interfere with or interrupt the card detection process.
5. Hold the card against the machine until you hear a sound, then you can remove the card. A green confirmation on the screen and a long beep indicate that the ticket purchase was successful. If you see a red "X" and hear two short beeps, it means the payment failed.

Parent/Guardian of Minors:

• Free journey for two children under 7.

University Student:

• 50% discount for short-term tickets;
• 80% discount for day and long-term tickets.

Pupil:

• 10 EUR for a year (primary school pupil ticket);
• 50% discount for short-term tickets;
• 80% discount for day and long-term tickets.

Pensioner:

• 50% discount for those under 80;
• 80% discount for those over 80.

Person with disability:

• 50% discount for Group II disability (partial incapacity);
• 80% discount for Group I disability (total incapacity);
• 80% discount for those requiring hemodialysis (other illnesses - link);
• 80% discount for one accompanying person per person with disability.

Resistance and Aggression Victims:

For those over 70

• 50% discount for defenders of Lithuanian independence who suffered injury during aggression by the USSR in 1991 and later;
• 80% discount  for those with family members who died during aggression by the USSR in 1991 and later;
• 80% discount for defenders of Lithuanian independence who lost capacity during aggression by the USSR in 1991 and later;
• 80% discount for members of the Resistance against occupations of 1940-1990 (volunteer soldiers);
• 80% discount for those who suffered during the occupations of 1939-1990 (political prisoners, exiles, former prisoners in ghettos, concentration camps, and other types of forced camps);

For those under 70

• 50% discount for defenders of Lithuanian independence who suffered injury during aggression by the USSR in 1991 and later;
• 50% discount for members of the Resistance against occupations of 1940-1990 (volunteer soldiers, freedom fighters);
• 50% discount for those who suffered during the occupations of 1939-1990 (political prisoners, exiles, former prisoners, in ghettos, concentration camps, and other types of forced camps);
• 80% discount for those with family members who died during aggression by the USSR in 1991 and later;
• 80% discount for defenders of Lithuanian independence who lost capacity during aggression by the USSR in 1991 and later.

*Individuals eligible for these privileges are entitled to purchase a 12-month (365-day) ticket for 2.90 EUR.

Discounts are applied in accordance with the Law on Transport Privileges of the Republic of Lithuania.

You can top up your JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card with both 30-minute and 60-minute tickets at the ticket distribution places and the self-service desk.

If your trip requires both 30-minute and 60-minute tickets, you can top up the card with the desired amount of short-term tickets and choose which ticket you want to activate – just touch your JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card to the validator, choose the ticket to activate and touch your card again. Both 30-minute and 60-minute tickets can also be purchased via the "m.Ticket" app.

With one physical card, you can only purchase one 60-minute ticket. However, by tapping a physical bank card and then tapping a mobile device with the same bank card in the Google Pay or Apple Pay wallet, two separate tickets will be activated.

When using a JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card, you can activate ticket for yourself and for your friend: touch the validator with the JUDU / Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card and select not activated ticket at the bottom of the screen, then touch the composter with the card again.
Important: when choosing a ticket, do not hold the card near the composter.

If you wish to activate several tickets simultaneously, you can also use the “m.Ticket” app for mobile phones.

Press the “Prepare for Control” button and show the controller the generated QR code.

The standard ticket types and prices are applicable for night buses, allowing you to use either the JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card or a ticket on your phone via the "m. Ticket", "Trafi" apps.

To register a JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card integrated into Student/LSP/ISIC cards, you need to know its number, which consists of 9-10 digits. This number is not visible on Student/LSP/ISIC cards directly. To view the JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card number, touch the Student/LSP/ISIC card to the composter in the vehicle and click on “Card information”. When topping up the Student/LSP/ISIC card at ticket distribution points, the card number is always indicated on the sales receipt. Alternatively, you can ask about the number at the Customer Service Center.

When topping up the card at the ticket distribution point, inform the seller about the desired type of e-ticket you would like to add to your card. 

You can load the JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card with short-term tickets (30-minute or 60-minute), day tickets (1-day or 3-day), and long-term tickets (30, 90, or 365 days) at any ticket distribution point marked with JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card sign. Additionally, you have the option to purchase e-tickets via the JUDU self-service.

The student certificate of a foreign university (school) and the international certificate "EURO26" are not recognized as documents giving the right to discount. Ticket discounts are available only with an ISIC (International Student Identity Card) certificate.

1. Purchase a JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card at any sales point marked with the JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card sign. You can immediately top up the card with the desired e-ticket type. 
2. If you are eligible for a discount, inform the seller of the type of discount that should be applied when purchasing the card. The discount will be automatically applied to your future ticket purchases.
3. Top-up works as usual. Give a JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card at the ticket-selling location and specify the type of ticket you would like to purchase.
4. You will receive an 8-page leaflet describing the JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card (which is the same size as the card) and a purchase receipt at the sales point. 
5. Please read the description of the JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card, and on the last page, next to the barcode, write down your card number. 
6. Save the JUDU/Vileničio (Vilnius resident) card number, as it will be needed in case the card is lost.
7. While using public transport, ensure you have a JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card with an activated/valid e-ticket. If you travel on a discounted ticket, also carry a document confirming your eligibility for a transport concession. 
8. Activate tickets by touching the JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card to the validator placed in the vehicle. Each time the card is tapped onto the composter, the time of validity and other relevant information will be displayed.
   
   Procedure of purchasing and using JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card and electronic tickets (only in Lithuanian language).

If you have several types of tickets on your JUDU/Vilniečio (Vilnius resident) card: touch the composter with the card, select the ticket you want to activate on the screen, touch the composter with the card again. Important: when choosing a ticket, do not hold the card near the composter.

Also, on your smartphone, in the “m.Ticket” app, you can store different types of tickets and the desired quantity. It is also possible to activate several tickets of different types simultaneously for yourself and a passenger traveling with you.

A passenger can typically transport one item of hand luggage with dimensions of no greater than 60x40x20 cm or with a total sum of dimensions not exceeding 120 cm.

The dimension limit does not apply to winter sports equipment or one item of hand luggage carried by pupils or students necessary for their school or studies.

After validating an additional full price ticket, a passenger can transport:

• A second item of hand luggage with dimensions not greater than 60x40x20 cm or with a total sum of dimensions not exceeding 120 cm.

• A hand luggage item with dimensions greater/larger than 60x40x20 cm or with a total sum of dimensions exceeding 120 cm, provided they don’t obstruct other passengers, create inconvenience or stain/damage the seats or passengers’ clothing.
