How are places for the bicycle storages selected?

During a public vote, the capital’s residents themselves chose bicycle storage places through the “Dalyvauk Vilnius” system. When choosing places, it was taken into account that they would be accessible to the largest number of residents, the possibility of connecting to electricity, convenient access to the storage from a pedestrian or bicycle path was also evaluated. It was also important that the storages were located on low-traffic streets, did not obstruct the visibility of car drivers, and did not appear in areas where landscaping had already been planned.
