What kind of special tickets with discounts have been approved by Vilnius City Municipality Council?

By the ruling of Vilnius City Municipality Council, the following ticket types have been approved:

12-month (365-day) ticket.

• Eligible for persons aged 80 and older;
• Eligible for defenders of the independence of the Republic of Lithuania recognised as having a partial incapacity and moderate special needs in accordance with legal acts (recognised as having group II or III disability before 1 July 2005 as a result of aggression by the USSR on 11-13 January 1991 or later);
• Eligible for family members of deceased defenders on independence of Lithuania who suffered from aggression by the USSR on 11-13 January 1991 or later;
• Eligible for persons who suffered in the occupations of 1990-1993 (political prisoners and exiles, former prisoners in ghettos, concentration camps, and other types of forced camps).

Price: 2.90 EUR

12-month (365-day) ticket for a primary school pupil.

• Eligible for 1st-4th form pupils of schools in Vilnius City who present a certificate issued by the educational institution.

Price: 10 EUR

The event participant’s ticket.

• Eligible for participants of events recognized as meeting the criteria specified in the Methodology of Event Assessment.

Price: 1 EUR

The vehicle parking ticket for riding the bus No. 88.

• The ticket purchased in specific parking lots permits the person to ride Bus No. 88 for free until the end of the day.

Locations: Gedimino pr. 9A, Tilto g. 14, and Maironio g. 27 in Vilnius.

Car Free Day. On World Car-Free day (22 September), after presenting a driver’s license, a person can use public transport to travel all local (city) routes for free.
