- Persons who have reached the age of the State Social Insurance Old-Age Pension of up to 80 years;
- Pupils and day-time university students (80% discount is for long-term tickets);
- Persons who have been recognised as having a partial incapacity or persons who have reached the age of old-age pension and who have been recognised to have moderate special needs in accordance with the legal acts;
- Persons who have been recognised as having Group II disabilities before 1 July 2005;
- Participants in the Resistance against the occupations of 1940-1990 including volunteer soldiers under 70 and freedom fighters;*
- Persons who suffered from the occupations of 1939-1990 – political prisoners and exiles, former prisoners in ghettos, concentration camps or other types of forced camps aged under 70 *.
- Defenders of the independence of the Republic of Lithuania who suffered from aggression by the USSR on 11-13 January 1991 and later *.
*Passengers to whom these discounts apply are also entitled to purchase a 12-month (365-day) ticket for 2.90 EUR.
IMPORTANT!
After presenting a validated/activated ticket with a discount to passenger control, a passenger must also present a valid document confirming their entitlement to the transport discount. A passenger without a valid document must purchase a full-price ticket.
