When traveling on public transport, you must have a JUDU card with an activated or valid electronic ticket. When using a discounted ticket, you must also have a document confirming your right to a transport discount.

How to use the card on public transport?
On the JUDU card, the ticket is activated by touching the card to the ticket validator (below the screen) in the vehicle, selecting the ticket you want to activate on the screen (if there is more than one type of ticket on the card), and touching the card to the ticket validator screen again.
Important: when selecting a ticket, do not hold your card against the ticket validator. When you hear an audible signal and see information about the ticket’s validity period on the ticket validator screen, the ticket has been successfully activated.
After activating your ticket for your journey, you can purchase additional 30- or 60-minute tickets (e.g., for your fellow passenger(s)) on the ticket validator screen. When you tap your JUDU card on the ticket validator again, the card balance will be displayed on the screen. Once you have selected an additional ticket, it is activated by tapping your card again on the ticket validator screen.
The ticket’s validity period begins after the ticket is activated. Each time you tap your card on the ticket validator, its screen will display the ticket’s validity period and other important information.

Tap and go!
If you rarely use public transport, we invite you to try a 60-minute public transport ticket, which can be purchased at all ticket machines using contactless payment.
By tapping your contactless payment card on the ticket machine, you will purchase a full-price 60-minute ticket for €1.25. The ticket will be activated automatically. No discounts apply to this ticket.
