Get acquainted with the types of public transport in the capital. The following types of transport operate in Vilnius:

Public transport tickets
Learn about the different types of public transport tickets:

JUDU card
The JUDU card is valid on all public transport routes in the capital – buses, trolleybuses, express buses, and night buses. You can purchase and top up your JUDU card at JUDU customer service centers or ticket distribution points, and if you already have a JUDU or Vilniečio card, you can top it up at a JUDU self-service terminal. The JUDU card costs €1.50.
„m.Ticket“ and „Trafi“ apps
Download the m.Ticket or Trafi app, purchase the ticket you want, and activate it on your phone when you board public transport.
Important: The m.Ticket app only works with Lithuanian phone numbers.
Contactless payment on public transport
If you do not use public transport often, it is convenient to purchase a 60-minute ticket on the vehicle using a contactless bank card. By touching your contactless payment card to the validator, you will purchase a full-price 60-minute ticket for €1.25. The ticket will be activated automatically. No discounts apply to this ticket.

At Vilnius Railway Station, you will find the JUDU customer service center, where you can purchase public transport tickets and get more information about other sustainable modes of transport in the city.
